The best planner, hands down. 0 people found this helpfulI suffer from a lot of anxiety, and using this planner (along with my crazy system of list-making) is one of the ways I cope. I used to get the 18 month one that started in March - I was devastated when it was discontinued this year. I ended up buying an 18 month (starting in July) planner from Moleskine at Target; thought I would be able to cope using that one. WELL. On the Moleskine the pages are thinner, so my lists that I write on post-its and stick on the notes page and peel off every day make the page wrinkle and wear after one un-peel. The weekend days oddly sometimes have things printed in their boxes. The thin paper does not stand up to a lot of my pens. And perhaps worst of all - the thing that made me come here and search again and order this calendar - is that it doesn't list the YEAR anywhere. Not on the cover, not in the calendar - which is more confusing than you might think when dealing with transferring dates in an 18 month calendar. So. I just bought ANOTHER expensive calendar - but it is worth it to me. And to the person who is frustrated with wasting six overlapping months - that is WHY this is a good calendar. I teach college and have kids, and often I need to plan things more than a year in advance. It is great to have those extra months - then I just transfer them into the new calendar once I have it! <3. #thebestplannerever

Q would be impressed with this planner! 0 people found this helpfulI just bought this planner at the local Barnes & Noble for 50% off and have the entire 2020 year unused. I was happy to buy it for $12.99! I don't see buying any planner for $30, there is too many options out there to have to pay that much. I do have to say, this is among the best planners I've ever owned. It is like a profession leather journal with the added benefit of things that are of benefit to any business person, academic or otherwise. It has calendar block pages, week planning and a full college ruled page for notes on the right of each week page. Bonus, area codes, maps and for the USA and world. Pages for birthday's and events as well as a time zone section. It is complete with a ribbon bookmark. This is a high quality planner and it is made in the USA! Good work to the folks in Maine who make this product! Please lower the price so I can afford the one for next year.

Awesome Job on this Planner! Best I could find at the book store 0 people found this helpfulI am not a planner connoisseur. I just bought this on a 50% sale at the local Barnes & Noble. I am highly impressed with the quality of this "Academic Journal". Not sure what the "Academic" means, though my guess is because it has tones of useful information such as maps and an area code list for the USA! I am also happy that it is made in the U.S.A.! The paper is quality and the layout is useful for professionals. It is like having a personal journal as well because there are pages for notes and calendars. It was completely worth the $12 I paid! Online here it shows $30+. That is too much. Keep the price down below $20 and I'll keep buying these in the future. This journal is professional and comes with a ribbon bookmark. Keep up the great craftsmanship Maine folks!

Love the Planner, Hate the Waste 1 people found this helpfulI've been using the 18-month Academic Planner for years now. I love the weekly layout and the large notes section on the facing page. I just wish they would start the planner pages on January 1st instead of July. When the planner runs out at the end of December I have to buy next year's planner that starts in the previous July! My choices are to either waste 6 months or wait 6 months till the next year's planner starts.

The only planner I'll ever use 0 people found this helpfulI've used a Gallery Leather Planner every year since 2013. I'm very particular about how I organize my professional life and the Academic Planner is the one and only planner I've founded that meets my standards. It's almost impossible to find a planner that has: 1. Week on left side, notes on the right 2. Ruled pages, with lines thin enough to include all of your daily tasks and notes for the week 3. Bound (no spiral that gets in the way of writing) It's perfect. Take advice from one HBIC to another. Run, don't walk to order this!
